Slamming those who are trying to mislead the people by alleging that NPP is BJP, the deputy CM said, “Let me tell you NPP is formed by our tallest leader of the state (L) PA Sangma, who was the former Lok Sabha speaker from the region. People from different parts of the country came to extend support to the formation of the NPP. A leader from Uttarakhand came and met us and expressed the need to form the NPP chapter in his state for protection of tribal minorities. Please do not think of NPP as an outsider.”
