Shillong, Aug 7: A one-day makeup masterclass and an interactive session to explore career in beauty industry was organized by the Senior Lecturer of Pearl Academy, New Delhi, Badap Hynniewta in collaboration with PearlXStudio on July 29, 2022 at Shillong Club.

The masterclass event was sponsored by the Government of Meghalaya under the Chief Minister’s Special Grant. The main aim of the masterclass event was to open platforms for young and talented youths of the State who wish to pursue career in the make-up and beauty industry.

Students who are currently undergoing training under the Lakme Academy, Shillong were able to learn and watch a full demonstration of two international advanced make up looks which was followed by an interactive session with the expert, Badap Hynniewta.

The occasion was also attended by Issawanda Laloo, Deputy commissioner, East Khasi Hills District.
