Shillong, March 2: People’s Democratic Front (PDF) said it is yet to decide with whom it wants to form an alliance with to form the new government in the state.

PDF working president Banteidor Lyngdoh, who got re-elected for the second time from Mawkynrew constituency, told reporters that the party will wait and take a call on the matter very soon.

PDF had fielded 8 candidates and won two seats.

Lyngdoh claimed that his party has done well despite the fact that two MLAs – Hamletson Dohling and Jason S Mawlong – left the party and joined other political parties.

“We still managed to retain these two seats including Sohra, which is represented by Gavin Miguel Mylliem,” he said.
