Tura, Oct 02: The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Office held a cleaning drive on Monday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at their office compound.

The drive was put in order by A. V. D. Shira, ADC and was comprised of the office staff members.

The cleaning drive started at 7 am. They cleaned the surrounding area of the office compound off leaves, scattered litters, unkempt shrubs and overgrown weeds.
