Tura, May 23: Felicitation for topper and faculty, cum a farewell for the out going students was organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Phukan Memorial College in Dalu, West Garo Hills on Wednesday.
The program witnessed the felicitation of topper and the faculty members of Education department. Principal of the college Dimseng K Marak felicitated Healkinstone M Marak of 2020 batch for his remarkable achievement . He secured third Rank in the department of Education at University Level (UG) examination 2023. He was presented with a HP Laptop and certificate of achievement.
The College also felicitated and presented a certificate of recognition to Gautam Das Assistant Professor & HoD of the Department of Education, Merina Ch. Momin, Assistant Professor, Department of Education and Helbird R Sangma Assistant Professor Department of Education for their exemplary teaching and outstanding performance in the academic year of 2021-2022 & 2022-2023.
Addressing the gathering principal of the college urged both the teachers and students to support each other in college equally. He said, “our college has developed a lot in the last three years and got a reputation of as one of the best educational institute”.
The second session was a farewell for the outgoing students of batch 2021. Dimseng K Marak in his address to the outgoing students wished the students good luck for their future endeavors and said they should keep up the good work and keep up to the name of the college.
