SHILLONG, JUNE 13: Mrs. Pinki Maring, from Meghalaya, who was the first Miss Meghalaya in 1998, has achieved yet another feat, she was recently crowned Mrs. World Peace 2024 on June 1, 2024, at Leela Hotels and Resorts, Ambience Mall Gurgaon. She was later felicitated by Samata Sahitya Academy as a celebrity guest in Ahmedabad.
Mrs. Maring’s achievement is particularly notable as she was the sole representative from Meghalaya in this prestigious international pageant. Her victory not only highlighted her personal excellence but also brought laurels to the state and the entire nation.
During the event, Mrs. Maring thanked Director Bharkha Nangia, who guided her throughout this beautiful journey. She also expressed her gratitude to the organizers of the National Samatha Conference Ahmedabad 2024 for honoring her.
