PM Modi hails ‘Operation Sindoor’ as triumph of Nari Shakti, sends stern warning to Pakistan

Must read

Guwahati, May 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the resounding success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, dedicating it to India’s Nari Shakti, and delivering a scathing message to Pakistan’s terror establishment.

Addressing the nation on Monday night, PM Modi drew a direct link between the cold-blooded brutality inflicted on Indian women and children by terrorists—and the thunderous response unleashed by the Indian Armed Forces.

“Pakistan tried to wipe the sindoor from the foreheads of our women. We uprooted the very universities of terror from where such acts were taught,” PM Narendra Modi said.

He named Bahawalpur and Muridke, referring to them as the “Universities of Terror” that have long served as breeding grounds for extremist ideology and operations against India.

With Operation Sindoor resulting in the death of over 100 terrorists including few high-value targets, the Prime Minister confirmed that India’s response had spoken in the language Pakistan understands best—force, precision, and unyielding resolve. “Pakistan has been repaid in full measure, and more. And if needed, we will do it again,” he said.

The Prime Minister did not mince words in exposing what he called the “hollowness of the Pakistani Army”, asserting that it stands no comparison to the discipline, might, and courage of India’s forces. “It was Pakistan that came begging for peace, not India. Their DGMO reached out when they could no longer bear the Indian onslaught,” he added, in a reference to high-level military communication following sustained Indian operations.

Significantly, the Prime Minister made it clear that Operation Sindoor is not over, it is temporarily halted. “Every inch of land that harbours terrorism—no matter how far—remains within the reach of our Armed Forces,” he warned, signaling that India’s counter-terror doctrine has shifted decisively.

In a strong rebuke to nuclear blackmail, the PM stated: “There is no difference between a terrorist and one who shelters a terrorist. India will respond to both. The new normal is clear—India will hit back. Wherever, whenever.”
