Shillong, Dec 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother, Heeraben Modi, passed away on Friday. Heeraben, who was 100 years old, was cremated in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
PM Modi, who shared a close bond with his mother, has written a moving note along with a picture of his mother. He said, “A glorious century rests at the feet of God… In Maa, I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values.”
