Shillong, Aug 18: The Cantonment Beat House Police along with the Special Party detained two people and seized 50 grams of heroin from Harijan Colony, Thewïewmawlong, Shillong.

A statement from the East Khasi Hills Police said the police along with special party, while conducting patrolling, detained two persons of Punjabi Line who were found moving suspiciously on Wednesday evening.

The Police with the help of the ANTF has seized:
1. Cash of Rs 28,050.
2. 2 mobile phones
3. 1 Aprilla 60 Scooty bearing registration no- ML 05X 5083
4. 4 Soap cases containing Heroin weighing 50.37 gms.
