Shillong, Oct 28: The Powergrid in Shillong has announced the celebration of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to November 1, 2021, at Meghalaya’s capital Shillong.
The Vigilance Awareness theme “Independent India@75: Self-Reliance with Integrity; in all the Powergrid establishments involving its stakeholders.
Speaking to Hub News, The Executive Director of Powergrid, Shillong said that Vigilance Awareness is celebrated annually and the purpose of the Awareness is to make the employees aware of vigilance and it normally consists of the birthday of late Sardar Wala Bhai Patel.
Dedicating the week to the employees Powergrid ED said, “our countrymen have worked so hard in achieving success, the journey has been tough but the dedication towards the nation and people at large, therefore Powergrid has kept high standards for integrity, honesty, and hard work”.
During this Vigilance Awareness week, Powergrid ED announced that there will be various extracurricular activities like quiz and essay competitions, walkathons, and many other activities.
