Shillong, March 13: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong has informed that the constructin and infrastructure development of the Rajabala Fire Sub-station is under process.

In his reply tabled in the Assembly on Thursday, Tynsong said the land has been taken over by the Superintendent of Police (F&ES), Tura.

The recruitment of firefighters and other staff of the fire sub-station is under process, he said while informing that sub-station requires at least 15 personnel.

The government is in the process of making the fire sub-station fully operational, Tynsong added.
