Itanagar, Oct 22: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to celebrate Dussehra in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.
He will be celebrating this day with the troops.
Singh will be visiting the forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh on October 23rd and 24th.
During his visit, he will be visiting the headquarters of four corps of the Indian Army at Tezpur in Assam.
Rajnath Singh will be celebrating the festival in Tawang, showcasing the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with the region. The presence of the Defence Minister also reinforces India’s strategic presence in Arunachal Pradesh.
Dusherra is a Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. It is marked by the burning of effigies of the demon king Ravana, symbolizing the triumph of Lord Rama. The celebration in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, will showcase the rich cultural heritage and religious fervour of the region.
