Rari, 29 May 2023: The much-anticipated inauguration of the Rari Sacred Heart Chapel took place on 27th May 2023, filling the air with an atmosphere of joy and celebration. The chapel, which was initiated by Fr. Charles Ch Sangma, was officially inaugurated by Fr. Januarius S Sangma, the Salesian Provisional of Guwahati.
The inaugural ceremony proved to be a momentous occasion as Fr. Januarius S Sangma and Father Daniel S Sangma, the acting parish priest of Mendal Parish, joined forces to cut the ribbon, symbolizing the formal opening of the chapel. The presence of several Fathers and Sisters from the local community added grace and blessings to the event.
With a seating capacity of 500 people, the Rari Sacred Heart Chapel stands as a magnificent place of worship.
