Tura, Dec 20: The Rhythm School of Music captivated audiences with their annual Recital cum Piano Concert featuring music maestro Adithya Sreeraam, a gifted keyboardist and a prolific pianist, at the Tura District Auditorium in West Garo Hills on Tuesday.
The event, graced by Subir M Marak, MLA, Rangsakona Constituency, as chief guest, showcased the musical talents of Rhythm School students in vocals, violins, guitars, keyboards, and instrumental ensembles. Notable attendees included Hubert Marak, retired civil service officer and parent representative, along with Shekhar K Sangma, retired joint director of Soil & Water Conservation, a musical veteran from Garo Hills, and John Oswin S Momin, DO, Soil and Water Conservation, South Garo Hills.
The highlight of the evening was Adithya Sreeraam’s mesmerizing piano performance, featuring classics like Beethoven’s Für Elise and renditions of popular Bollywood songs. The auditorium, filled with parents, students, and music enthusiasts, experienced a musical journey with Adithya’s virtuoso skills. The maestro also engaged with students, providing insightful explanations on music.
The musical evening concluded with a surprise lottery game, where three randomly selected audience members received prizes.
