Nongpoh, Aug 29: To boost the morale of the outgoing students of Ri Bhoi College who have just passed their Graduation, Ri Bhoi College on Monday felicitated over 325 students who graduated in the Commerce and Arts stream.

The felicitation programme was attended by the local legislator of Nongpoh, Mayral Born Syiem, as the chief guest in the presence of the Ri Bhoi College Principal, SSR Bamon, and other faculty members of the college.

During the day, a special award was handed over to Daphira Khymdeit who topped the graduation examination with Education as the major subject held in 2020. In addition, the MLA also handed over cash award to Khymdeit.

The felicitation includes 69 students who bagged 1st Position.

Speaking at the programme, Mayral Born Syiem lauded the management of Ri Bhoi College for conducting such programme to encourage the outgoing students for their performance in the examination held and will also boost their morale for higher education and future.

He also expressed that the students of Ri Bhoi College have prospered well in different examinations conducted by NEHU and also urged them to continue their efforts for a bright future.
