Shillong, March 22: Mynken Christian Higher Secondary School from Ri Bhoi District is set to represent India in the second edition of the Indo-French football tournament in Paris, France.
The team, along with their coach and staff, will depart from Shillong on Sunday, with the tournament set to begin on March 25.
India will be represented by two teams—Mynken Christian and the Subroto Mukherjee 2024 winners, TG English School from Manipur.

The Meghalaya government hosted a special send-off ceremony on Saturday in Shillong, attended by members of the Meghalaya Football Association (MFA) and officials from the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.
All expenses for the team will be covered by the Government of Meghalaya.
MFA President Hamletson Dohling also presented ₹1 lakh as financial aid to the school.
