Shillong, March 20: Rosetta Mary Kurbah has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District, Shillong in a bureaucratic reshuffling on Monday. Kurbah was previously the Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi and East Jaintia Hills.
Meanwhile, S.C. Sadhu, the incumbent Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District, has been transferred and posted as Director, Community & Rural Development, Meghalaya, Shillong, and shall also function as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya for Community & Rural Development, Fisheries & Water Resources Departments.
Jagdish Chelani, the Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar, has been transferred and posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District, Tura. Swapnil Tembe has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya for the Education Department and Director of School Education & Literacy and Special Project Director for SSA.
Vibhor Agarwal has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar.
G. Kharmawphlang, the Deputy Commissioner of South West Garo Hills District, Ampati, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang.
W. Nongsiej, the Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya for the Prisons & Correctional Services Department.
