RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to visit Guwahati for 5-day programme

Guwahati, Feb 21: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat is on a five days Assam tour. He is slated to be in Guwahati on Friday for five-days program.

The scheduled tour is a part of tour undertaken by Dr Bhagwat as the RSS celebrates its centenary year in 2025. The organization was established in the year 1925.

According to the schedule, Dr Bhagwat will reach Sudarshanalaya at Barbari locality of Guwahati directly from Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on Friday afternoon.

During his tour , Dr Bhagwat will interact with the Karyakarta/volunteers of RSS and also meet a selected gathering where he will speak on five important issues towards social transformations, like social harmony, civic duties, environment protection, spirit of selfhood and values of ideal family (Kutumba Prabodhan).

On February 22, he will address a meeting of Rashtra Sevika Samiti at IIT Guwahati, following, Dr Bhagwat will grace a Bouddhik program at South Point High School in Saukuchi locality where thousands of RSS Karyakartas will be present.

“Apart from these programme, the Sarsanghchalak will also attend a few meetings with Sangh Pracharaks and other dignitaries in the city. He will leave Assam for Arunachal Pradesh on February 26, for the next phase of tour,” said Kishor Shivam, Prachar Pramukh of RSS’s Uttar Asom Pranta.
