Shillong, June 25: Sandy Sohtun was on Tuesday elected as the new president of the North Eastern Hill University Students’ Union (NEHUSU) for the term 2024-2025.

The other newly elected members include Riki Deiburom Rabon – vice president, Toniho S Kharsati – general secretary, Eva Kordor Kharshandi – assistant general secretary, Ymphaidien Sutong – finance secretary, Soki Syrti – games & sports secretary, Banskhemlang Marwein – academic secretary, Edna Callista Kharsyntiew – social & cultural secretary, Naphisabet Marwein – public relations secretary and Bashankur Buhroy – editor.

The handing and taking over charge by the newly elected body of the NEHUSU will be on Wednesday.
