SHILLONG, MAR 5: Nituparna Das, an MSc student of NEHU, has secured the prestigious 1st prize in the research poster presentation category during the National Science Day Celebration 2024 organized by the State Council of Science Technology & Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya.
Das presented his groundbreaking research work on “Self-Chargeable Hydrogen Based Solid-State Cell,”. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Satya Prakash Pati from the Department of Physics at NEHU.
Two MSc students, Pranjal Sharma and Nituparna Das, have clinched the first position in the Eastern Zone Contest of the Anveshan 2023 Program. Their project titled “Development of Low Power Consumption Artificial Neuromorphic Devices by Using Proton as a Neurotransmitter” stood out in the interdisciplinary research category. The duo will represent NEHU at the international level competition, scheduled to be held at the University of Mumbai on March 10, 2024.
The Vice-Chancellor of NEHU, expressed his pride in the students’ accomplishments, highlighting their dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and contributing to the academic excellence of NEHU.
He further said that “NEHU remains committed to fostering a culture of innovation and research excellence among its students”.
