Gangtok, Sept 9: Former minister of the Lachen Mangan constituency Tshering Wangdi Lepcha announced his resignation from the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) party.
Lepcha cited unavoidable reasons for his decision to step down from his position and resign from the party.
He has been an active member of the party since 1993, expressed his gratitude for the opportunities and knowledge he gained in Sikkimese pollitics during his tenure.
Earlier, the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) Party President, Pawan Chamling, has announced the dissolution of all party committees except for four, during a Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting at SDF Bhawan on September 2, 2024.
