Shillong, Feb 19: The Office of the Superintendent of Police (SP) East Khasi Hills has imposed a ‘No Entry’ restriction from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM in Mawlai Mawroh-Golflink areas on February 22-23 in view of the 27th India Police Golf Tournament 2023-24.
In a notification on Monday, SP (Traffic), K Prasad informed that the places of No Entry includes from Mawroh Tri-junction towards Golf link Tri-junction.
The SP informed that Vehicles coming from Mawlai By-Pass -Mawroh Tri-junction. and wanting to proceed towards Polo Market will be diverted from Mawroh Tri-junction towards FCI Junction – Polo and beyond.
However, vehicles will be allowed to proceed upto MPPS (old PTS) for dropping of School going children only.
The other area is from Golf Link Tri Junction towards Mawroh Tri Junction.
Vehicles coming from Golflink Tri-junction and wanting to proceed towards Mawroh Tri-junction will be diverted towards Tiara Restaurant Jn. -Chandmari Jn. — Mawroh Jn. and beyond.
The SP also informed that No vehicles will be allowed to park all along the periphery of the Golf Course.
