Guwahati, Feb 14: The Special Squad of Guwahati Police led by Joint Commissioner of Police, Partha Mahanta, busted an international narcotics trafficking ring with the arrest of 2 Nigerian traffickers from the Dibrugarh bound Rajdhani Express on Sunday.
A total of 20 gms of Cocaine and incriminating documents were recovered from Ifeanyi Charles Okuakaj and Emmanuel Enuma Dike’s possession.
Legal action has been initiated against the two and a case has been registered at Panbazaar PS vide case number 55/2022. They have been booked under section 120(B),468,471 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), read with 22(B) of the NDPS Act. Their entry into India and Rule 6 of Passport entry into India is also being probed.
