Shillong, March 3: Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Monday informed that the government is waiting for the third instalment to release scholarship to over 20,000 students of the state.

“We are awaiting for the ministry to release third. Already second instalment has been released. We expect early release,” Sangma told reporters.

“We have close to over 60,000 students of which 40,000 have already received their scholarship and about 20,000 still waiting for the third instalment from government of India,” he added.
