Tura, April 16: Electoral authorities in Garo Hills have released detailed statistics regarding the distribution of polling stations and personnel deployed across the five districts, providing a comprehensive insight into the electoral landscape.
In East Garo Hills, a total of 186 polling stations will be manned by 930 polling personnel to accommodate the needs of a population totaling 106,176 residents. North Garo Hills has 176 polling stations with 880 polling personnel assigned to serve a population of 136,886.
South Garo Hills, with 165 polling stations, will be supported by 825 polling personnel to cater to the electoral requirements of approximately 102,969 residents. South West Garo Hills with 158 polling stations, where 894 polling personnel will manage the voting process for a population of 103,067.
West Garo Hills with a substantial 539 polling stations, with 2,588 polling personnel to handle the electoral needs of a population totaling 823,404.
