Shillong, April 25: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Shillong, has issued a weather alert for Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills, and East Jaintia Hills regions. As per their latest forecast, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected to lash many parts of these districts on 25th April.
The advisory, issued at 6:30 PM, remains valid until 9:30 PM tonight. Residents and travelers are advised to take necessary precautions and remain indoors during the thunderstorm to avoid potential risks.
