Shillong, Oct 18: Mrs Tourism Pageant 2022, Sweet Beconia Lyngdoh from Umlyngka Upper Shillong, bagged the title Ambassador for Peace, on October 2, in Bangkok, Thailand.

While speaking to reporters, Lyngdoh said as the Ambassador of Peace she will work on the benefit of the women especially the breast cancer stricken women in the State of Meghalaya.

“As the Ambassador my main objective is to help and educate the citizens of our state and country, especially the breast cancer-stricken women. Since there isn’t much knowledge about breast cancer in our state, I plan to make the most of the opportunity I have been given by encouraging young girls to maintain their physical and mental cleanliness in order to prevent breast cancer, especially at a very young age,” she said.
