Speaking at the inaugural Tura Me'gong International Literary Festival 2023, organized by Don Bosco College, Tura in collaboration with A'chik Literature Society (ALS) on Saturday, the CM expressed his gratitude and conveyed his vision for future Litfests to be more inclusive, drawing writers and scholars from across the state and the nation.

Concerned about the dwindling Garo language and its rich vocabulary due to outside influences and excessive borrowing from other languages, concerned members of the Garo community have come together to safeguard, revive, and enhance the fast-disappearing original Garo vocabularies.
