Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Tuesday said that the Meghalaya government has been unable to finalize a qualified operator to manage the 108 Emergency Services due to persistent complications in the bidding process.
Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on Wednesday informed that the much-awaited Shillong Medical College is expecting to commence its academic session for 2025-26 very soon this year and the academic session of Tura medical college by next year.
Reacting to a protest staged by the Awaken India Movement, Meghalaya against the Aadhaar linkage, Lyngdoh said, “I have been briefed by the DC that there were some organizations that took a protest march against the Aadhaar linkage to several beneficiary oriented scheme.”
The inauguration was also attended by Law Minister M. Ampareen Lyngdoh, Meghalaya Assembly Speaker Thomas A. Sangma, Justice H.S. Thangkhiew, Justice W. Diengdoh and Dadenggre MLA Rupa M. Marak.
