CAG report flags Rs. 1,577 cr revenue loss in Meghalaya

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has detected 70 cases of underassessments, short, non-levy, loss of revenue amounting to Rs 1,577.17 crore, which accounted for 50.76 per cent of the State’s own resources.
