Opposition Congress MP from Shillong Vincent H Pala has allegedly failed to conevene the DISHA meetings in East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi during the last one year.
Informing this in his reply during the Assembly on Monday, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said that unemployment rate in the state on average is around 3%, which is below the national average at 4.7%.
Replying in the Assembly, Tynsong said the government has sanctioned 140 two-wheelers and 80 Boleros for the various police stations to ensure the policing system in the state improves as much as possible.
