AVENUES concluded the inaugural workshops at its new APEX Academy in Nongrim Hills in Shillong, marking the 22nd edition of its annual winter workshops. Held from December 11, 2024, and January 6, 2025, the workshops engaged 82 children and teens aged 5 to 16 over two 15-day sessions.
The students participated in pilot training interventions under SPARK (School Programmes in Articulation, Resilience, and Kindness), organized by the Department of Education, Government of Meghalaya, and Samagra Shiksha - State Education Mission Authority of Meghalaya (SEMAM).
In a world-first, two youth-focused organisations from Meghalaya and Australia have come together to foster the first knowledge-exchange in entrepreneurship education with indigenous youth between Australia and India.
