In an effort to raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of blood cancer and the crucial role of stem cell transplant as a treatment option, DKMS-BMST Foundation India, a non-profit organisation dedicated to fighting blood cancer, conducted a donor registration drive at The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM).
World Zoonoses Day was celebrated at the College of Community Science, Tura on Saturday in the College of Community Science in the presence of Dr. Pawan Tiwari.
As part of their effort, the students carried banners and placards highlighting the harmful nature of tobacco products, serving as a visual reminder to the people on the various health hazards associated with tobacco use.
