The victim who has suffered serious injury has been identified as- Pranob Das, resident of Bamunbari village in Bhawanipur's Barpeta district. Along with Pranob, Bikash Das, Mausum Das and, Konjyoti Talukdar also suffered injuries during the attack.
In an extraordinary and rare occurrence, a child with conjoined twins, possessing two heads but sharing one body, was delivered at Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College in Barpeta, Assam.
