The Guwahati police are intensifying efforts to crack down on the notorious "siren gang," known for unlawfully equipping vehicles with sirens and red/blue beacon lights, in violation of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. Their vigilance heightened after the seizure of nine luxury vehicles involved in the illicit practice.
