Head of the Bangladesh delegation and Additional Director General, Region Commander, Chattogram Md Shazedur Rahman on Thursday claimed that there has been a decrease in Bangladeshi nationals going out to other countries.
The Border Security Force (BSF) of India and the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) have committed to addressing critical bilateral border challenges to foster peace and tranquillity along the international boundary. This decision was reached during the four-day Inspectors General BSF – Region Commanders BGB level Border Co-ordination Conference, which concluded in Shillong on Thursday.
The entry of narcotic substances from across the border and the smuggling out of sugar from this side are two burning issues expected to be raised during this week’s four-day bilateral conference between the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) taking place here in Shillong, from today.
The 53rd Director General (DG) Level Border Co-ordination Conference between BSF (India) and BGB (Bangladesh) will be organized by BSF at BSF Camp Chhawla, New Delhi from June 11 to 14, 2023.
