Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the statue of Ahom General Bir Lachit Borphukan and 'Saheed Smarak' at Bir Lachit Borphukan park in Assam's Narangi Military Station on Monday.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday informed that the world’s tallest statue of Bir Lachit Barphukan is expected to be ready by January 2024.
