"Bhasha Gaurav Week," scheduled to start on November 3, will honor the recent recognition of Assamese as a "Classical Language.'' The week-long celebration will embrace not only Assamese but also the 14 other languages spoken across Assam.
The Central government has officially recognised Assamese as a classical language, along with four others, highlighting the nation's linguistic diversity.
