The critically acclaimed film Rapture by award-winning director Dominic Megam Sangma is set to be screened in Shillong from 7th to 11th November, 2024.

Directed by Dominic Megam Sangma, this cinematic marvel is the first movie from Meghalaya, which has achieved such widespread distribution in French cinemas, signifying a milestone in the global recognition of Garo cinema.
As Garo Hills’ filmmaker, Dominic Megam Sangma’s featured film - ‘Rapture’, is set to be screened at the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma said Dominic is a source of inspiration for all filmmakers in the State of Meghalaya.
Dominic's feature film ‘Rapture’ has been selected for the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland in a world competition in Concorso Cineaste del Presente section.
