According to FKJGP president , Dundee C. Khongsit, nearly all of the 45 Gramin Dak Sevak positions have been filled by candidates from outside the state. Khongsit said that this issue is due to the absence of local languages - Khasi and Garo, as optional languages during the recruitment process, which has disadvantaged local youths.

Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) president, Dundee C Khongsit, on Monday announced that the organization has received two notices from the police concerning their ongoing drive to check the documents of migrant laborers.
