East Khasi Hills continued their domination on the sports arena, across multiple disciplines at the 5th Meghalaya Games with most events coming to a close on Friday evening, and on the eve of the closing ceremony they remain the favourites to be crowd champions of the game.
The High Jump Finals was a mixed bag with Garo Hills athletes from Williamnagar and North Garo Hills giving a tough challenge to their competitors from Ri Bhoi who were the champions in both men and women events.
From the get go, East Khasi Hills completely dominated the game. Their offence, passes, technical superiority and accuracy had no defence from South West Garo Hills. It seemed, they were scoring at will.
