In yet another medical feat involving complex surgery, the doctors at North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) successfully conducted a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with fluorescence imaging technique for sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping using indocyanine green (ICG) with 4K camera platform on a 74-year-old woman who was diagnosed with obesity, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and early stage endometrial cancer.
