On Tuesday, Assam Rifles conducted an Area Domination Patrol (ADP) in Thingkangphai village in Chandel district and allegedly fired on village defence volunteers killing one and injuring many.
On Monday, two persons were reportedly shot dead and others sustained bullet injury in an incident of firing along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border at Panbari in Dhemaji.
