A life size statue of the Khasi legendary freedom fighter – U Tirot Sing Syiem will soon be erected at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
U Tirot Sing Syiem was a prominent leader and freedom fighter from Meghalaya who played a crucial role in the Khasi Hills resistance against British colonial rule.
