A 70 year old man who tried to rape a minor girl in his house, two years ago, has been sentenced to five years in prison by the POCSO Court in Tura, this week.

A murder incident took place in Monabari area of South West Garo Hills district, bordering Mankachar in Assam on Tuesday evening in which a younger brother stabehd his elder leading to his death.
