The District Football Association (DFA), Tura felicitated the Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) U-15 football team on Tuesday at the Chandmari Football Turf, for their exceptional performance in the State Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2024, held in Shillong last week.
The State Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2024 for U-15 boys and U-17 boys and girls has reached its last leg with the finale commencing in Shillong on Saturday. Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) representing West Garo Hills district will play the final against Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School of Ri Bhoi district in the Under-15 boys category on Saturday.
The District Football Association (DFA) conducted selection trials for U-14 (boys) and U-16 (boys) on Saturday to represent the West Garo Hills District team. This trial was held in preparation to scheduled Inter District Youth League.
