The cVIGIL app of Election Commission of India has become an effective tool in the hands of people to flag election code violations. Since the announcement of General Elections 2024, over 79,000 complaints have been received as of today.
Currently, the first level checking (FLC) of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and VVPATs which is to be used in Lunglei District are underway at the DC Indoor Stadium from June 13th, 2023 and is expected to be completed on Tuesday under the supervision of ECI engineers.
