Former Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Meghalaya Police GK Iangrai on Thursday filed an FIR against Meghalaya Director General of Police (DGP) Lajja Ram Bishnoi for allegedly misuse and tampering of registration number plate of his vehicle.
The High Court of Meghalaya on Monday instructed the state government to initiate necessary disciplinary proceedings against GK Iangrai, a suspended Meghalaya police officer, in accordance with the law.
