A suspected dacoit who had multiple police complaint against him and a most wanted criminal in Hailakandi district of Assam was killed in a dramatic bollywood movie styled encounter by cops today.
Hailakandi Police in Assam apprehended an illegal money lender, Tapan Nath (48), from Sarbanandapur village last night. The arrest was made following a written complaint received by the police.
One Eklas Uddin Sheikh (29) from Joykrishnapur village died on the spot, while two others, Riju Laskar (32) from Jalalpur and Iftiqar Alam Choudhury from Dhanipur, critically injured.
