The Meghalaya Medical Services Association (MMSA) on Monday commended the Health Department, Government of Meghalaya, for its visionary approach in addressing the acute shortage of doctors in the state.
In order to enhance the quality of healthcare services for the citizens of the State, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma alongwith Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh held a meeting with officials from the health department on Friday to discuss strategies for bolstering healthcare infrastructure and improving healthcare accessibility in the state.
