He told reporters on Thursday that he is joining the NPP without any conditions. He said expressed that he is ready to shoulder any responsibility that is bestowed on him by NPP high command, once he joins the party.
Speaking to reporters after a program, Hek said that the allegations made by Shangpliang have been voiced by all members of the party from all over the Khasi-Garo region.
BJP State President Ernest Mawrie said that it was Shangpliang who was practising nepotism by requesting the party to appoint his brother in Mawsynram Mondal.
Advisor to the Government of Meghalaya, Education Department, Himalaya Shangpliang on Tuesday said the MDA-2 government has taken various initiatives for the SSA teachers, and it will soon release Rs. 52 crores in capping salary for SSA teachers.
